3 houses, school bus damaged in fire incidents

Srinagar, Jan 24: Police today said three residential houses and a school bus were damaged in different fire incidents across Valley.
A police spokesman said fire broke out in the residential house of Abdul Rehman Ahanger at Ranger Mohalla in Dalwan village of Chrar-e-Sharief in Budgam district, resulting in partial damage to the house.
The spokesman said blaze broke out in the residential house of Mohammad Maqbool Wani at Zawoora locality of Pantha Chowk area here on city outskirts, resulting in damage to the house. He said fire broke out in the residential house of Tariq Ahmad Shah of Dudwan village of Kupwara district, resulting in partial damage to its kitchen.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in a school bus bearing registration number JK04B-4148 at DPS Sheikhpora in Humhama area of Budgam, resulting in partial damage to the bus. “Fire tenders bought fire under control with the help of police and locals However, no loss of life or injury was reported in all these incidents,” he added.
