JAMMU, Jan 19: The CBSE and Sports Authority of India conducted National Level Training of Trainer (TOT) programme under Khelo India National Fitness Assessment Programme for the Sports/Physical Education teachers at Jawahar lal Nehru Stadium, Delhi.
This 2-day training programme was organized by CBSE and SAI in order to highlight the aims and importance of various sports and also to revive the sports culture among youth at the grass-root level.
The emphasis was mainly laid on Physical Fitness which can be ensured through proper training.
Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu not only focuses on the development and success of their students but also lay emphasis on the development and well-being of their teachers.
By keeping this in view, two Sports teachers namely Jagpreet Kour and Tanishka Charak participated in this programme from the J&K State.
Sports teachers from various states participated in the programme under the guidance and supervision of master trainers, who nurtured sporting talents and made them well-aware of the various benefits of training for staying strong and fit.
CBSE Skill Education & Training Directors Dr Biswajit also spoke on the importance of training and various sports to stay physically and mentally fit.
The programme concluded with distribution of certificates and tracksuits.
Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school, Rohini Aima spoke on the occasion and threw light on the significance of such programmes.
