JAMMU, Oct 28: Deepak Sharma, working in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, presented a research paper in 6th IEEE International Conference on Computer Application in Electrical Engineering: Recent Advances, under CERA17, organized by Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Roorkee.
The conference was attended by eminent scientists and researcher from across the world. Deepak Sharma’s research works was based on “ANN Based SVPWM for Three-Phase Improved Power Quality Converter under Disturbed AC Mains”. The paper was authored by Deepak Sharma and co-authored by Prof A H Bhat and Prof Aijaz Ahmad, Deptt of Electrical Engineering, NIT Srinagar.
The research article highlighted the effects of Disturbed Supply on Converters and proposed a novel Artificial Intelligence Technique control approach for fast and better performance of three-phase Improved Power Quality Converters for balanced, unbalanced and distorted AC Mains.
