Doda District JKCA Premier Championship concludes at Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, July 24: Scripting a narrow win over Youth Cricket Club Bhaderwah, Masood Cricket Club lifted the title trophy of the Doda District Premier Cricket Championship at Degree College ground, here.
Masood defeated the rivals by a narrow margin of 10 runs in a close contest.
20 teams participated in the event which was played on knockout basis as per the pattern already adopted in other ongoing district tournaments.
The objective of the tournament was to provide opportunity to the players to showcase their talent and reserve berth as probable for JKCA.
Chief Executive Officer, JKCA, Ashiq Hussain Bukhari is the chairman of District Level JKCA Premier Championships, while the Championship was held under the supervision of Sham Saroop Kalsotra, Committee Member, JKCA, Jammu.
ASP Rajinder Singh was the chief guest, who distributed prizes in the presence of Sham Saroop Kalsotra, Chander Mohan Sharma, Rajinder Khajuria, CEO Bhaderwah Development Authority, Ashok Kumar Kotwal, DYSSO Bhaderwah, Shabir Ahmed Tehshildar, Brijesh Sharma,  SDPO Bhaderwah and Muneer Khan, SHO Bhadarwah. Coordinators of Doda Bhaderwah District Tournament Organising Committee & its executive members formed by J&K Cricket Association were present on the occasion. The Tournament was held under the overall observation of former Ranji Trophy player, Shafqat Baba.
