JAMMU, May 28: Jodhamal Public School held its 6th Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm and zeal.
On the occasion, Simrandeep Singh, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Jammu, was the chief guest.
The occasion started with the welcome address by Monika Sethi, Vice Principal, Jodhamal School.
The newly appointed Council Members marched in with their heads held high to the beautiful beat of the school band. They were adorned with the badges and received the school and House flags from DDC and School Principal Trilok Singh Bist.
This was followed by the entire Council taking oath.
Principal asked the members to follow the ethical means of leadership.
The occasion also witnessed a colourful bonanza of Inter-House Dance Competition. This show was adjudged by the parents of the newly inducted Prefect Council.
Simrandeep Singh emphasized upon the importance of discipline and the dignity of the individual and school.
Hasit Sachdev has been elected as Head Boy, Navisha Gupta as Head Girl, Ratnesh Jain as Deputy Head Boy, Ishita Dhar as Deputy Head Girl, Muskan Tyagi and Muskan Puri as Academic Prefects, Antriksha Pathania and Aayush Dubey as Discipline Prefects, Danish Kaul and Jatin Mahajan as Sports Perfects.
The Neutral Vice Prefects are Pranjal Gandhi and Kshitij Sethi (Academic Vice Prefects ), Manaswini Oswal and Ananya Sharma (CCA Vice Prefects), Gursimar Singh, Shivam Snoria and Harsimaf Kaur (Discipline Vice Prefects), Milind Pandita and Irwin Kaur (Sports Vice Perfects).
The House Prefects are Aarush Kaul and Charanjeev Singh (Challenge House), Varnika Gupta and Maulik Jain (Discovery House), Warnika Slathia (Enterprise House), Zara Zulfikar and Manik Bakshi (Invention House).
The House Vice Prefects elected are Atima Baksh and Chaitely (Challenge House),
Ananya Billawria and Ningnung Jaikone (Discovery House), Mahinder Kaur and Arya Abrol (Enterprise House), Gunjan Singh and Shakib Sheikh (Invention House).
