UDHAMPUR, Nov 19: Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) No-1 Udhampur organized Cluster Level Sports Meet in its School premises, here today.
Four Kendriya Vidyalayas namely KV-1 Udhampur, KV-2 Udhampur, KV Jindrah and KV Chenani participated in the Meet. The Meet was inaugurated by the chief guest Bharti Pandey by lighting the ceremonial lamp, which was followed by Flag Hoisting, Sarswati Vandana and Welcome Song.
School Principal, Rajesh Pandey presented welcome address and highlighted the significance of the Meet.
Various sports, cultural and allied activities were performed during the Meet.
KV-1 Udhampur bagged first place in Group Song, Poem Recitation and Relay Race, while in Three-Legged Race KV-2 Udhampur claimed first place and in Group Dance KV-1 Udhampur gain bagged the first place. The programme was followed by Hindi Calligraphy and English Dictation Competition.
Finally the prizes were distributed among the participants by the chief guest.
Surinder, Rajeev, Meenakshi and Sudesh Kohli were the organizers.
