JAMMU, May 9: Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nagrota celebrated its annual function with great fervor at Usman Auditorium, today.
Brig D S Tripathi, Commander 16 Corps Arty Bde and Chairman VMC was the chief guest on the occasion. Principal R K Shukla welcomed the chief guest and presented the annual report for 2013-14 highlighting achievements of the Vidyalaya.
Earlier the function was inaugurated by the chief guest by lighting the ceremonial lamp which was followed by Saraswati Vandana and Sanskrit Shloka. A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students by including the variety of items.
The chief guest distributed the prizes among the students and the teachers who have excelled in various activities And showered his blessings. The programme concluded with the presentation of vote of thanks by the vice-principal Bimla Pandit followed by the National Anthem.
