“Manifesto of practicality”

Raman Suri
Ever since the Union Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi started delivering projects of national importance well on time and brought over 25 crore people out of poverty, got over 50 crore people within the banking system, build 4 crore homes for homeless, helped about 10 crore women use clean cooking fuel, dedicated to nation 7 new IITs, 15 AIIMS and 315 medical colleges, revoked Article 370, empowered our security forces besides gave the nation a completely transformed railway transport system and made India one of the top five economies of the world, people have started believing in “Modi Ki Guarantee”.
Unlike the past when foundation stone of lakhs of projects used to gather dust and the progress was going on at snail’s pace, Modi ensured that whatever the BJP Government commits, it does to the fullest satisfaction of the people. Be it Statue of Unity in Gujarat, longest road bridge in West Bengal or highest railway bridge in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP Government has always ensured timely completion of projects, thus instilled confidence amongst people that words get translated into reality like never before. This is the reason why BJP is going unplugged and ensuring an unprecedented development besides occupying a significant global position.
Now that the party has thrown its hat in the rink for the third consecutive time, it has come out with a manifesto named BJP Ka Sankalp (Modi Ki Guarantee), which means that all the promises made in the booklet are practical and will be implemented within the next five years. Out of the many promises or guarantees that the Government is giving, many of the previous projects will also be continued for the next five years like the one providing free ration to 80 crore poor people. This project was initiated during the COVID-19 pandemic but sensing the gravity of the situation, it will be continued further. In the meantime, like 25 crore people, these poor will also be gradually pulled out of poverty.
Today, when the country is progressing to see 28 Kms of new national highway being built every day and 14.5 Kms of railway line being laid out daily, in addition to the airports that have been doubled during the past ten years and the capacity of ports also increased manifold, the Indian economy is touching new heights. To be precise, the Congress’s model of development was to go slow, lure people, play with their sentiments, delay projects, make people beg for roads and facilities, and keep them underdeveloped so that elites could rule them. This was the colonial style of governance but this mindset has changed and the incumbent Government has reversed the trend.
Be it holding G20 meet, repatriating Indians from areas of conflict, planning Moon mission, enabling 27 countries to trade in Indian National Rupee, providing made in India COVID-19 vaccines to Indians, or building the magnificent Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya, the BJP Government has always stayed on the front. This is the reason people have started believing that all previous manifestos of BJP were not merely slogans but words that were implemented in letter and spirit. Today, most of the disturbed areas in the country are enjoying peace, and people instead of dealing with conflicts are concentrating on their progress and prosperity.
Confident of delivering, BJP has once again come out with a “Manifesto of Practicality.” Knowing that nation will never allow any Government to overturn the decisions like abrogation of Article 370, Congress and its allies are continuing to speak lies. Had the opposition been on a common platform, they would have come out with a common manifesto but the divided houses of INDI Alliance have all come out with their individual manifestos and many of the candidates, who are contesting elections in Jammu and Kashmir, are making false promises with the people on their own. These leaders are issuing statements that are not in their party’s manifesto, which means that their promises are nothing but just a bundle of lies.
With an aim of continuing to give Bharat a stable, credible, transparent, and accountable Government, the BJP has decided to continue with free ration for the poor for the next five years. The biggest and successful health insurance scheme will also be continued and every house will be provided with tap water. Poor are going to get free electricity, middle class will get affordable homes by strengthening the RERA act, and youth will be getting jobs because of the extension of Bharat’s top-tier startup ecosystem to tier-2 and tier-3 cities. For the middle-class families, who will be getting a good road network, enhanced rail and metro connectivity besides EV charging stations and affordable 5G and innovative 6G technology, their lives will also be improved.
Modi’s target is to help women grow and sustain so that the nation gets additional 3 crore LakhpatiDidis in the next five years, build more public toilets for the convenience of women population, eliminate cervical cancer, and extend all health benefits to the girl child and women in the country. Modi’s sensitivity towards women, farmers, youth and aged is exceptionally understandable. Our country has also witnessed many big scams in the past, especially in the conduct of examinations,so with the implementation of stringent laws, students are going to get a guarantee of appearing for the examination, which has a fair and transparent system.
If Narendra Modi has said that with the Make in India programmes in electronics, defence, mobile, automobile and other industries, employment is being generated, then it surely is benefiting a number of educated youth. Improved connectivity, better infrastructure, and increased tourist footfall automatically generates employment opportunities and this pace of development is not going to stop in the next forty years as well, this is called Modi Ki Guarantee. The presence of medical shops selling generic medicines in the country has established that Modi means serious business and is never going to succumb to pressure from any lobby.
Be it agriculture, fisheries, horticulture or dairy farming, the BJP Government has included every section of the society in its manifesto and has planned for their sustainable growth. The SC,ST, and OBCs in the country are also going to get their due share, which is why the BJP manifesto promises associating all eligible tribal self-help groups with Van Dhan Vikas Kendras, FPOs, NRLM for scaling up the activities relating to minor forest produce, and forproviding skill and entrepreneurial training. India is emerging as the strongest nation and doesnot hesitate to lead from the front when it comes to fighting against terrorism or drugs.
Having implemented the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), the BJP also intends to initiate the steps to facilitate fiscal autonomy and sustainability of Panchayati Raj Institutions, implement One Nation, One Election system besides take steps that will completely transform Bharat. Having an eye for every aspect that influences the citizens, be it that of ecology, robust education system or making Bharat a global hub of manufacturing, the BJP manifesto is ready to facilitate everyone to make India a self-reliant nation. After a decade ofpeople havingblessed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with the responsibility of serving them in a nation where its Prime Minister addresses himself as Pradhan Sevak, I believe every voter knows the importance of his/her vote and will come to the Polling Booth to exercise his/her right to franchise and elect the BJP to power for the third consecutive time.
