KISHTWAR, Sept 30: A class 8th girl student died due to drowning in Bhot nallah here, police sources said.
The victim identified as Pooja Devi was crossing a temporary under construction Beam Bridge when she fell into the Bhot nallah.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started operation to fish out the body of the girl from the nallah with the help of locals. The body of the girl was not fished out when last reports were compiled.
Police have taken cognizance in this regard.
