JAMMU, Nov 3: 105 Infantry Battalion of Territorial Army (TA) Rajputana Rifles will be organizing a recruitment rally for the category of Soldier General Duty, Soldier Clerk and tradesmen at Delhi Cantt from November 7 to 15 from 0600 hours onwards.
“Candidates hailing from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Haryana and Chandigarh can take part in this rally”, a release issued by the Army said.
According to the release, for Soldier General Duty category, the candidates belonging to the State of Haryana will be screened on November 7 and 8 whereas the candidates belonging to the States of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi and Chandigarh will be screened on November 9. For Soldier Clerk and tradesmen category, candidates belonging to all five States will be screened on November 10.
The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 42 years, weight minimum 50 kg, height minimum 160 cm and the chest 77 cm with expansion of 5 cm.
Educational qualification for Soldier General Duty category should be matriculation with minimum 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject or having qualification 10+2 or above. For tradesmen category, the required qualification is 10th simple pass while for Soldier Clerk category, it is 10+2 pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. Candidate with proficiency in computer and typing will be given additional weightage.
