JAMMU, Oct 19: The Territorial Army (TA) is going to hold recruitment for Jammu region districts from October 26 at Tanda TCP Ground Akhnoor.
The recruitment would be made for Soldier (General Duty), Surveyors, Clerks (SKT) Drivers and Tradesman (Chef Community, Housekeeper).
The selection process would include Physical Test, Trade test and interview.
The Physical Test of youth hailing from Rajouri , Samba and Ramban districts for Soldier (General Duty)and Tradesman would be held on Oct 26, for those hailing from Doda, Kathua and Kishtwar on October 27, Jammu, Poonch on Oct 28 and Reasi and Udhampur on Oct 29.
However the Trade test for all the districts will be held on October 30, whereas the medical examination will start from October 27. The interview of the candidates will be conducted from October 31 to November 4.
The aspiring candidates hailing from different districts have been asked to come as per the scheduled date and venue prescribed for their respective districts.
The educational qualification for the Tradesman (Chef Community) for Jammu Kathua and Samba districts is 10th class pass and for districts of Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar, Reasi, Ramban and Udhampur as 8th class pass, while for the post of Housekeeper the education qualification for all the districts would be 8th class pass.
Similarly the education qualification for Sol (GD) for Jammu, Kathua and Samba districts would be 10th class pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject, while for those from Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar, Reasi, Ramban and Udhampur districts, the qualification is set as simple 10th class pass.
Likewise, the education qualification for the posts of Clerks (SKT) will be 12th class pass for all districts with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject (Any Stream- Arts , Commerce Science with English & Math / Accounts or Book Keeping at 10th / 12th std).
For the post of Surveyor, the education qualification will be 12th class pass(Science with Physics Chemistry, Math and English) for all districts with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
