Srinagar, May 21: A passenger died and three others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a trawler, JK02Q-4496, hit a Sumo, JK14A-4372, near Nambal in Awantipora, resulting in on spot death of a passenger, Uroon Singh son of Ajeet of Pogal Banihal.
The Sumo driver was seriously injured in the mishap and he has been shifted to a hospital for treatment, the spokesman said.
A motorcycle, JK04B/8459, hit and injured a boy, Umer, 9, of Chek Mohalla Soibugh at Soibugh in district Budgam. The injured has been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
In another accident, an unknown Auto load carrier hit and injured Mohammad Amin Wani son of Mohammad Sultan near PHC Gate in Bemina. The injured has been shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
