JAMMU, Feb 15: One person was killed while two others were injured in motorcycles collision at Balle Da Bagh area of tehsil Akhnoor.
As per police sources, two motorcycles bearing registration numbers JK02BT 8871 and JK02AV 1007 collided head on at Balle Da Bagh area on Jourian Akhnoor road, resulting into injuries to three persons.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to SDH Akhnoor where doctors declared one of the injured as brought dead. Two injured persons were later referred to GMCH Jammu for specialised treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Jyoti Raina of Badyala Chack, tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu, while the injured were identified as Vinay Kumar, son of Tilak Raj of Ward Number 2 Jourian and Karan Verma, son of Dwarka Nath of Badyala Chack, tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
