Srinagar, Dec 10: An old woman was killed and two others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a woman, Zooni widow of Abdul Khaliq aged 77 of Check Ganistan in Bandipora was hit by a tractor driven by Sajad Ahmad at Check Ganistan. She died on the spot.
A pedestrian, Tahir Ahmad Sheikh of Akingam, Anantnag was injured when a minibus JK03/2476 driven by Tariq Ahmad hit him at old KMD Bus stand. Sheikh was shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment, the spokesman said.
A motorcyclist Javed Ahmad Khan son of Mohammad Yousuf of Yarmukam was injured when a Tata Sumo JK07/1189 hit him near Chapargund in Ganderbal. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Ganderbal for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
