SRINAGAR, Aug 18: One person was killed while three others injured in different road accident across the Valley.
A police spokesman said that a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK01R/8529 hit and injured Haleema Banoo, 45, wife of Basher Ahmad Dar of Ratnag at Ratnag, district Kupwara. She was removed to Sub District Hospital Kupwara where she succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, an Alto car JK01B/0185 met with an accident at Turigam, resulting in injuries to two persons who were travelling in it. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment, the spokesman said.
In another accident, a Maruti car JK01D/6669 hit and injured a pedestrian near Dhobiwan crossing in Kunzar area of Budgam district.
The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, the spokesman added.
