Srinagar, Dec 30: One person was killed and six others were injured in two different road accidents in the Valley today.
A police spokesman said a truck bearing registration number JK04A-6858 turned turtle on Highway near FCI Depot Mirbazar in Qazigund, resulting in on spot death of the driver Ram Dayal Sharma son of Des Raj of Akhnoor, Jammu.
Six passengers travelling in a Tavera were injured when a Tipper bearing registration number JK013A-4442 and Tavera bearing registration number JK09-8786 collided near petrol pump Chogal in Handwara.
The spokesman said all the injured were hospitalized, and police has registered cases in these accidents.
