MENDHAR, July 2: Launching special drive, the Medical authorities sealed ten illegal running private dental clinics, labs and X-ray units in Mendhar Sub division of Poonch district,

Official sources said that a team led by Block Medical Officer Mendhar, Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan along with Mukesh Singh, Naib Tehsildar, Mendhar, Medical Officer Dr Sayed Muddasir and Gulshan Partap Singh Sub Inspector sealed seven private dental clinics and two private diagnostic laboratories and one Digital X-ray Lab, operating without any registration and not adhering to biomedical waste norms. Moreover, many diagnostic labs were also not displaying any rate list of various procedures and tests.
BMO said that the dental clinics sealed are: Khan Digital X-Ray, Abdullah Dental Clinic, Dr Riffat Khan Dental Clinic, V- Care Clinical Lab, Advance Dental Health Care Clinic, Star Dental Clinic, Treat-well Dental Clinic, Dental Clinic, Micron Clinical Lab and Public Diagnostic Lab.
