RAJOURI, July 29: At least 10 persons were injured when a bus and truck met head-on-collision near Sunderbani on Jammu-Poonch highway today.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when the bus No. JK02AK/1107 was on way to Jammu from Rajouri. When it reached at Bhakhar near Sunderbani, it met head on collision with truck JK-11/8955 at a sharp curve at 9.30 am. A tipper which was closely following the truck also collided with the truck. At least 10 persons were injured in the mishap and were shifted to Sunderbani hospital.
The police party rushed to the spot and it shifted the injured to Sunderbani hospital. Some of them were discharged after providing first-aid. Those admitted were identified as Khadim Hussain, Jameel and Fazal Hussain from Dungi village in Rajouri, Abdul Aziz of Chamba (HP) and Deepak Sharma from Dachhal in Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
