JAMMU, Feb 11: Traffic Police today challaned 10 school buses, which were plying without conductors and documents, thus, violating safety norms.
The schools, whose buses were challaned, included Delhi Public School (DPS), JK Public School, KC International, Banyan International and Shiksha Niketan, SSP Traffic, Jammu, Manmohan Singh said.
Mr Singh said the drive was launched against the school buses after the death of a teen-ager female student of Nanak Nagar in an accident inside DPS premises. He added that the drive would continue to ensure that no school bus violates safety norms.
“All school buses must have conductors and proper documents’’, the SSP Traffic said.
