UDHAMPUR, Aug 14: Udhampur Police today granted In-situ promotions to 105 Constables serving in District Udhampur, which was a long pending demand of the Constables.
While speaking to the media persons, Mohammed Suleman Choudhary, SSP Udhampur said; keeping in mind the future perspective of the constables who serve day and night without caring for their personal comforts, Insitu promotion of 105 constables was ordered today. In this regard, a departmental promotion committee headed by SSP Udhampur was constituted and the process of scrutinizing the eligible constables for Insitu promotion was started. 105 Constables, who fulfilled the criterion, were today promoted to the higher pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200+GP 2400 with effect from their respective date of eligibility.
