10th North Kashmir Sports Festival in full swing

SRINAGAR, Oct 2: The Sporting Extravaganza ’10th North Kashmir Sports Festival’ organised by Baramulla Police is in full swing, here.
Various matches were held in the events like football, cricket, kabbadi, kho-kho and volleyball today.
In football, S W Baramulla defeated Baba Raza Sopore by (1-0), while Moosa Blues defeated 3-Star Fatehpora by (3-1).
In cricket, Seer Sports XI defeated Singhpora XI by 10 runs. Farooq Ahmad was declared man of the match for scoring 19 runs and taking 1 wicket.
The second match was played between DC XI Baramulla and Handwara Sports. DC XI Baramulla won the match by 6 wickets. The third match was won by BCC Reds Baramulla by defeating Star XI Baramulla by 2 wickets, while in fourth match Rising Star Sopore defeated Fatehpora Star XI by 193 runs.  Last match was played between Coaching Centre XI and Azad Gunj CC Baramulla in which Coaching Centre XI won by 8 wickets.
In volleyball, Seer Sports Sopore defeated Challenger Volleyball Club, Baramulla, while Super 6 Volleyball Baramulla defeated Chogul Volleyball Club.
In kho-kho, Dar Mohalla Singhpora defeated Hr Secondary Biner by 3 pts, GHS Doabgah Lolab defeated GHS Lolab by 1 innings and 7 points, while GMS Singhpora defeated GMS Khanpora by 1 innings and 5 points.
In kabbadi, KC Haripora defeated Rafiabad by 26 points,  KC Hygam A defeated Dudipora by 37 points and KC Chogul defeated KC Haripora by 8 points.
Large number of people witnessed the matches and there was an environment of fun and enjoyment.
