JAMMU, Nov 23: 10th State Speedball Fest 2019 concluded at Birls Open Mind International School, Channi Himmat, here today.
Over 1200 players drawn from around 50 Schools of various districts took part in the event.
An Impressive valedictory function was organised in which Sandeep Mehta (SSP Special Task Force) was the chief guest.
On his arrival, the chief guest was accorded a warm reception by Ravi Tikku, President JKSSBA along with Sunny Nanda General Secretary JKSSBA.
Sohail Kazami, Senior Journalist; Suchita Gupta (Principal IDPS Kathua); Shilpa Mahajan (Principal Shubh Memorial School); Sanchita Mukherjee (Principal Bomis); Pushpinder Charak (Youth Leader) and Arshad Khan were present on the occasion.
An impressive demonstration of Speedball was presented by the students.
During Function, Bhumika Gupta was honoured for her achievement In recently held World Championship.
Army Public School, Udhampur emerged as the overall champion, while Air Force School secured 1st runners-up, while Banyan International School clinched 2nd runner-up trophy.
Chief Guest, Mr Mehta lavished praise on the organisers for holding such events.
Sunny Nanda, General Secretary JKSSBA presented vote of thanks.
