Srinagar, Jan 18: Eleven domestic cattle were charred to death in Harwan in Srinagar outskirts when a residential house was engulfed in fire that spread to a nearby cowshed.
A police spokesman said the residential house of Ghulam Mohammad Chopan son of Abdul Samad of Chopan Mohalla, Harwan caught fire.
Fire engulfed a nearby cowshed in which 11 domestic animals were charred to death and both the structures were damaged, the spokesman said.
