11 bovines rescued, 2 held

Kishtwar, July 1: Chatru police rescued 11 bovine animals and arrested two smugglers.
As per police sources, police team from Chatru police station led by Inspector Rajinder Sharma arrested two persons namely Mohammad Iqbal and Ghulam Qadir, both residents of Diller Chatru for smuggling bovine animals to Kashmir.
Police rescued 11 bovine animals, which the accused were smuggling towards Kashmir from Naidgam area of Chatru.
A case under FIR number 52/14 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at police station Chatru and investigation started.
