11 persons injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Mar 30: Police today said eleven persons including seven students were injured in different road accidents across Kashmir Valley.
A police spokesman said a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03A-5013 driven by Bashir Ahmad Wani and an Eon car bearing registration number JK03-3863 collided at Agroo in Devsar area of Kulgam district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. “The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a school bus bearing registration number JK05D-7735 met with an accident at Kulangam in Kupwara district, resulting in injuries to seven students boarding the vehicle. “All the injured were shifted to Public Health Center, Chogal for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a Santro car bearing registration number JK01N-8212 collided with a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01R-0195 at Basharat Colony here in Nowgam, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion mate. “Both the injured were shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital for treatment,” he said, adding that a case has been registered in this regard.
The spokesman said a Tipper bearing registration number JK01D-4117 collided with an Auto rickshaw bearing registration number JK01G-2435 at TRC Srinagar here, resulting in injuries to auto rickshaw driver. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, he said, adding that a case has been registered in this regard.
