JAMMU, Dec 27: 11th Kurash Senior National Championship, organized by J&K Kurash Association, concluded at Indoor Stadium Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta was the chief guest of the closing ceremony.
Haryana team was declared as winner of the championship, while Delhi clinched 1st runner up trophy and Jammu and Kashmir won 2nd runner-up trophy.
Eshan Saini and Akshay Sharma clinched Gold medals, while Aryan Gupta and Khushi Thakur won Silver medals, besides Varun Sharma, Veervhadra Singh and Moid Nissar secured Bronze medals.
Prominent persons including Dr Sandeep Singh president JKKA, Dr Seema, general secretary JKKA, Rohit Gupta treasurer, Shashi Balgotra vice president, Vipul Gupta joint secretary and Rajinder Sharma were present during the closing ceremony of the championship.
Vikas Dogra In-charge Indoor Stadium Bhagwati Nagar Jammu was also present during the event.
