ANANTNAG, Mar 17: 11th UT level Tennisball Cricket Championship, organised by J&K Tennisball Cricket Association, was inaugurated by DC Dr Piyush Singla along with SDM Bijbehara Jahangir Ahmad Khanday, here today.
The championship is being organised for senior and junior both boys and girls.
On the first day of the championship, a total of 13 matches were played. In senior category, Srinagar beat Bandipora, Shopian trounced Pulwama, Baramulla defeated Kupwara, Kulgam beat Ganderbal, Ramban got better of Bandipora, Budgam defeated Pulwama, Jammu beat Kupwara, Ramban trounced Srinagar and Budgam beat Shopian.
In senior girls, Baramulla beat Kulgam, Budgam defeated Ganderbal and Ganderbal trounced Kulgam, while in junior boy’s category, Ramban defeated Anantnag.
