KISHTWAR, June 13: A Lok Adalat was held today in the District Court Complex here under the chairmanship of MS Parihar, Principal District and Sessions Judge Kishtwar.
Two benches were constituted. The first bench comprised of Principal District and Sessions Judge Kishtwar and Khem Raj Sharma, Munsiff JMIC Kishtwar, while the second bench comprised of Balbir Lal Jaswal, Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar and Suman Bhandari, Advocate.
A total of 177 cases were referred to Lok Adalat, out of which 123 cases were amicably settled and total amount of Rs 3,90,800 was settled in all cases.
