JAMMU, Sept 30: Bagh-e-Bahu police today rescued 13 bovine animals, while the smuggler managed to fled.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station laid a naka at Sarote morh and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02AC-9811.
During checking, police rescued 13 bovine animals, while the driver of the vehicle managed to fled from the spot, he added.
A case under FIR number 87/13 and under Section 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act has been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station and investigation started.
