JAMMU, Dec 31: A Lok Adalat was held in the Court Complex Hiranagar, which was presided over by Preet Simran Kour Grover, Chairperson, Tehsil Legal Service Committee (TLSC), JMIC Hiranagar.
A bench was constituted comprising of Thakur Ranjit Singh Advocate and Naresh Kumar Gupta, Advocate and assisted by retainer lawyers Sandharbh Dogra and Rakesh Kumar.
In the Lok Adalat, 15 cases were taken up and out of which 13 were settled amicably.
A Legal Awareness Camp was also organized, in which the general public was made aware about their legal rights and various schemes introduced by TLSC, Hiranagar.
