SAMBA, Oct 15: Fourteen people were injured after a truck bearing registration Number PB02P 9895 which was on its way to Jammu from Punjab skidded off the National Highway at Chichi Mata temple near here this afternoon.
The injured were taken to District Hospital Samba and are undergoing treatment there when last reports came in.
The injured people were identified as Surinder Kour, 65, W/o Puran Singh Harman, 18, S/o Dalbir Singh, Narinder Kour, 50, W/o Amrik Singh yrs 4) Prince 16 S/o Doulat Ram, Gagandeep, 17, D/o Satveer Singh, Manjeet Singh ,55, W/o Sukhdev Singh, Balwinder Kour, 53, W/o Amrik Singh, Mela Ram 55, S/o Gian Chand, Bbhajan Kour, 60,W/o Tarsem Singh, Rajan Kumar ,34, S/o Bakhsish Singh, Didar Singh ,17, S/o Bachiter Singh, Sahil ,17,S/o Barket Ram ,Shamsher Singh, 19, S/o Satveer Singh and Rajpret D/o Gurjot Singh. All are the residents of Batala Amritsar Punjab.
