PULWAMA, July 4: Police led by Station House Officer (SHO) Rashid Akbar during a Naka on Thursday morning intercepted a Santro car bearing registration number JK01R-7426 on National Highway near Kadlabal, Pampore. Sources told that during the search of the Vehicle few bottles of wine and bear were recovered from the car. Police arrested all the three occupants of the Car and a case FIR No 70/2013 U/S 50 was registered against them in Police Station, Pampore.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, son of Abdul Rashee, Javaid Ahmad Nengroo, son of Ali Mohd and Mehda Bhat, son of Sulla Bhat all residents of Prichoo in Pulwama.
Meanwhile, Kakapora Police led by SHO Manzoor Ahmad arrested a cyclist Abdul Hameed Sheikh, son of Gulam Mohammad resident of Kadlabal, Pampore along with 14 Kg fukki near Kakapora, Pulwama. Police sources said that a case FIR NO 178/2013 U/S 15 NDPS act has been registered at police station Kakapora in this regard.
