14-member Pak delegation arrives ahead of Modi’s swearing-in

AMRITSAR : A 14-member Pakistani delegation arrived in India today ahead of the swearing in of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister tomorrow which will be attended by Premier Nawaz Sharif and other leaders.
Sharif would arrive in New Delhi tomorrow.
The officials from the office of Pakistan’s Prime Minister crossed over through the Attari/Wagah land transit route on Indo-Pak border. They were taken to Rajasansi Airport from where they took a flight to Delhi.
The Pakistan Prime Minister, who was invited along with six Heads of Governments and States of SAARC grouping on May 21, will arrive in the Indian capital shortly before Modi is sworn-in at Rashtrapati Bhawan at 6 PM on Monday.
Sharif will be accompanied by a delegation comprising of his Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry among others. (AGENCIES)
