REASI, June 26: Fifteen days theatre workshop/trainings, organised by Abhinaya Kala Manch Reasi, under the financial assistance from Sangeet Natak ‘Akademi’, New Delhi concluded at Garden Estate, here.
On the concluding day, Kaka Ram Dogra Zonal Education Officer Reasi was the chief guest, while BS Sharma President STG was the guest of honour. A well known theatre director, Raj Rahee was the special guest.
The Workshop focussed on Acting techniques, Body Language, Observational kills, Voice Modulation, Diction and Speech. This will provide a unique knowledge practice based techniques, which is very important to acquire in this career. All kind of genres like tragedy, comedy, drama and horror would be taught.

Abhinaya Kala Manch Reasi provided a platform to young energetic youth of Reasi who wanted to earn knowledge of Theatre. Experts from different fields also interacted with students and delivered lectures, demonstrations and shared their experience with the young aspirants.
Veteran writer Raj Rahee taught the basic principles of play writing, Abhishek Bharti a Scholar from Deptt of Indian Theatre, Punjab University, Chandigarh gave demonstrations about Physical Theatre.
M. Akram Khan an expert gave tips about Make-up and Stage craft.
The chief guest said that our regional culture should be preserved and it is high time that we should be serious about our roots and also appreciated the efforts of the Abhinaya Kala Manch and extended thanks to the Sangeet Natak Akademi New Delhi for financial support.
