15 WB tourists injured as bus overturns

UDHAMPUR, Mar 12: Fifteen tourists from West Bengal were injured when a bus on way from Katra to Srinagar skidded off the road and overturned near Balli Nullah on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, around three kilometers from here today.
The injured, who included four women and driver Manzoor Ahmed, son of Abdul Majid of Pulwama, were rushed to District Hospital Udhampur by the local Police and condition of all of them was stated to be out of danger.
The accident took place when driver of the bus, bearing registration number JK 02U- 7327, could not negotiating a sharp curve.
Identity of the injured tourists was established as Panchali Paul, daughter of Pankaj Paul, Tatash Paine, son of Shupan Paine, Hiron Moy Sarkar, son of Lt. BB Sarkar, Anath Bandhu Hazara, son of Lakshman Hazara, Raju Patra, son of Nakul Patra,
Robin, son of Mona Rajan, Chaina Ghugu, wife of Rajinder Glughu, Saraswati, wife of Lt Sukhdev, Provir Ghosh, son of Anil Ghosh, Ravinder Ghughu, son of Satnam Ghughu, Subrato Choudhary, son of Sushak Mohan Choudhary, Bhagi Rath, son of Mohan Chand Mandal, Pankaj Ghosh, son of Ishak Kali Padu Ghosh and Tulalaine, wife of Span Paine.
