JAMMU, May 11: A 15-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to police spokesman, the boy identified as Mohan Lal (15) son of Kapoor Chand, a resident of Kore Jagir in Nagrota was found hanging with the hook of a ceiling fan at his residence, this afternoon.
On getting information from family members, police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for post mortem.
Though no suicide note was recovered from the spot, the concerned police has registered a case and started investigations.
