The attention of the JMC authorities is draw towards the nallah flowing through the heart of Paloura Colony Opposite Bread Factory. This open nallah though of great importance to the residents of the area, is at times becoming a source of nuisance for the residents of the area. As it flows uncovered, its stench wafts through the entire colony causing great discomfort to the residents. Besides, many cattle have fallen into it, and got injured. This nallah was repaired a number of times in the past, but repair work did not last, as the work executed was not proper and material used was sub standard. Therefore, it is requested that this nallah be repaired and covered under Smart City Project currently underway in the city.
Hope the authorities would look into the matter.

Dog menace in Swaran Vihar
Increasing threat of stray dogs in Swaran Vihar has made residents of the colony fearful. Reports about day-to-day dog bites in and around the colony demands proper action from the Veterinary Section of JMC at the earliest. A large number of dogs in the Colony are multiplying speedily without any check. The immediate need of the hour is to start a move for their proper sterilization and removal. Moreover, the pet dog owners also need to keep their dogs away from public places in order to escape from any untoward incident. It is mandatory to all pet dog owners to register their dogs with the Municipal Authorities and any deviation in this matter needs strict action from the Deptt. of Veterinary JMC. The school going children feel insecure in such situation.

Non-availability of fertilizers in Sunderbani
With squeezing of agricultural land and fast urbanization, it was hoped that in future there would be no shortage of fertilizers. But, on the contrary, the farmers suffer a lot in procuring fertilizers at the time of need. Apparently, it is either due to inadequate supply or mismanagement. Therefore, opening more depots to facilitate the farmers to have required quantity of fertilizers, can’t be overemphasized. Since majority of the population earns its livelihood by agricultural products, non-availability of fertilizers at crop season is absolutely undesired. Hope, necessary measures would surely be taken by the authorities of the Deptt. concerned so that the poor farmers aren’t made to run up and down for the puspose.

Repair Mansar road
This is to draw attention of the concerned agencies that the road from National Highway to Mansar Lake though metalled needs immediate repairs. The road has numerous pot-holes all along its length. The portion of road near the Mansar Park is totally damaged.
One can see not the pot-holes but big puddles there which cause great inconvenience to motorists. This road is used not only by visitors but by truck drivers also. Big columns of trucks ply on this route day and night.
As such the road needs to be maintained on regular basis. Besides, the Mansar area needs to be given a face lift by creating additional space for car parking. The world famous Mansar Park is thronged by tourists in a large number particularly during summer season. To manage the rush of vehicles, it is essential that a car parking space be created for convenience of motorists. Hope the concerned agencies would look into the problem.
