15th Sub-Junior State Speedball C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Dec 22: The 15th Sub-Junior State Speedball Championship concluded at Crescent Public School, Janipur, here today organized by the J&K Sports Speedball Association.
The Championship was inaugurated by Pankaj Bhagotra, RTO Jammu, who was the chief guest. Arshad Choudhary, Chairman, CPS, Ashwani Jojra, President, Special Olympics J&K and Munish Gupta, vice president were also present as special guests.
Army Public School Udhampur emerged as the champion, securing first place, followed by Army Public School Sunjuwan as second. Crescent Public School was awarded the runner-up trophy.
The event also highlighted individual talent, with Keshav Bhougal (RMPS) being named best player in Super Solo, Samarth Sharma (APS Dhar Road) awarded best player in single event, and Arya Rajput (APS Dhar Road) recognized as the best girl player. Gurvansh Choudhary won the open best player award.
The tournament featured matches officiated by referees including Sandeep, Sahil, Vishal, and others. Sunny Nanda, General Secretary of J&K Sports Speedball Association, delivered the vote of thanks. All winners will be selected for the upcoming national competition.
