JAMMU, Sept 5: The 2-day 16th District Jammu Taekwondo Championship got underway at Judo Hall, Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
The event was inaugurated by Ajay Sharma, president of the Association in a simple function.
Around 150 students drawn from various schools and clubs participated in the event.
The students who won gold medals in different weight categories included Veer Singh, Mateen Bhatti, Sushant Verma, Dipanshu Bhat, Varun Sharma, Arya Batra, Haseeb, Arsh Raina, Vanshak Jain, Aryan Chib, Munishwar Singh, Shanu Kumar, Surya Krish, Koushal Garg and Karan Chopra.
