JAMMU, Dec 24: On the second day of 17th UT J&K Wushu Championship-2023 underway at Indoor Hall Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu in Sub Junior, junior categories (Sanda) (Boys-Girls) were played here today in different weight categories.
In under-9 years below 28 kg (boys); gold was won by Eisa Iqbal of Shopian, in girls category gold was clinched by Parisa Jafar of Kishtwar. In the under-32 kg boys category gold was won by Ahsan Zahoor of Bandipora and in girls Atifa Batool of Samba. In under-9 open category boys, Shazaib Malik of Budgam and in girls Vasudha Sharma won gold.
Under-12 gold was won by Chitvam of Khelo India Centre Jammu. While in Under-12 Years below 20 Kg (Boys) gold was won by Aarnav of Udhampur and while in the girls below 24 kg; Baisa of Shopian won gold. Under-14 Years below 20 Kg (Boys) gold was won by Balvinder Kumar of Akhnoor.
Rajiv, Member J&K Sports Council, Haneef Choudhary Chief Sports Officer J & K Sports Council, Sunil Sharma Vice President and DySP Sharat Chander General Secretary Athletic Association were among the guests present on this occasion.
