18-member hockey team leaves for Vadodara

JAMMU, May 7: 18-member sub-junior men hockey team has left for Vadodara in Gujarat to participate in the 4th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men Hockey National Championship.
The team was selected by Hockey J&K and is being sponsored by J&K State Sports Council. Prior to their departure, 18 days coaching camp was conducted by State Sports Council at KK Hakhu Astroturf Stadium, Jammu, wherein the players were imparted training by coaches Jagjeet Singh and Joginder Singh.
The screening of the team was done by Rajan Sharma, Divisional Sports Officer and Abdul Rashid from J&K Police, member State Sports Council.
