JAMMU, Apr 2: A team of YES Bank headed by Rajnish Datta, senior president and Head HCM – Branch and Business Banking, and Pulkit Handa, National Training Manager Branch and Retail Banking, visited the Government College for Women (GCW), Parade, to select students for their ‘YES Udaan’ program.
The initiative was taken by the Bank in partnership with the Ministry of Home Affairs and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under Project UDAAN, for providing training and employment opportunities to the youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
Overall 18 candidates from Jammu were handed over appointment letters in the presence of Prof Hemla Aggarwal, Principal of the College.
While welcoming the students, Rajnish Dutta said, “YES Bank has steadily evolved as the Professionals’ Bank of India’. We aim to foster young leadership by offering them challenging opportunities. The state of Jammu & Kashmir definitely has a rich talent pool of bright minds.”
Pulkit Handa appreciated the students for showcasing a lot of potential and determination. He said “We had a fantastic experience selecting students for this program and we are looking forward to welcome these students for the training camp around 2nd week of May.”
