UDHAMPUR, Dec 30: 187 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Udhampur, today organized a free medical camp under Civic Action Programme at Kirchi and Latti, for the people of far flung areas of the district.
The medical camp was organized under over all supervision of Commandant 187 Bn CRPF, Manoj Kumar Sharma.
Nearly 610 patients including large number of women along with their children were examined in the camp and were provided free medicines.
In addition to medical care, agricultural equipments were also distributed by the Battalion to the flood and landslide affected people of Dudu, Kirchi, Basantgarh, Latti and Sudhmahadev areas of the district.
Among others, Deputy Commandants, 187 Bn CRPF, Darbara Singh and SS Bali, other senior officers of the Battalion and prominent personalities of civil and local administration were also present in the camp.
