SRINAGAR, Aug 10: 1st Children’s Hockey Champion-ship- 2015 under the auspices of Hockey J&K and Hockey India concluded, here today.
The final match was played between Delhi team and the team of Tyndale Biscoe School, Srinagar.
According to the organizers, the Championship was organized after a gap of over 10 years in Kashmir valley, in which all the leading teams of the Valley and a team from Delhi participated.
The final match of the championship was played at Amar Singh College Grounds between Delhi Team and Tyndale Biscoe School Team, which was won by the Delhi team by four goals to two (4:2). Pawan scored 2 goals, while Sonu and Irfan scored one goal each for Delhi team. Delhi team was leading the match at half time by (2:0). Both the teams showed excellent hockey skills which were appreciated by the public.
