KISHTWAR, Dec 16: The 1st District Kishtwar Ju-Jitsu Championship 2024 concluded at Kishtwar Academy of Martial Arts with around 90 participants, including boys and girls, from across the district.
The event was organized by the District Kishtwar Ju-Jitsu Association in collaboration with District Youth Services and Sports, Kishtwar, under the auspices of the Ju-Jitsu Association of Jammu & Kashmir, recognized by the J&K Olympic Association.
The championship saw intense competition across various weight categories. The winners were awarded medals in gold, silver, and bronze categories. Gold Medalists included Mustafa, Diwik, Bhavish Parihar, Adivik Shan, Pradhuman Thakur, Sudhir Rathore, Vinod Singh, Haseeb Imtiyaz, Sonam Parihar, Samridhi Shan, and Ditya. Silver Medalists were Ridaan Thakur, Ambika Prasad, Manav Thakur, Hardik, Ashutosh Sharma, Aarya Rajput, and Kalpana Thakur. Bronze Medalists included Avika Sharma, Veer Aditya Badyal, Vihan Parihar, and Devanch Thakur. The medalists will represent Kishtwar at the upcoming UT-level championship.
