JAMMU, Feb 14: 1st edition of Seasons Play Half Marathon was organised today by Seasons Play wherein nearly 100 Athletes including 31 women participated.
Some of the finest Athletes from Jammu braved the tough hilly route and made their city proud by performing above their potential and excelled in the half marathon.
Determined to finish the half marathon, all the athletes were gathered today at the Grand Hill Sidhra. The half marathon was flagged off by elite runner of Jammu, Gaurav Gupta. “Although, the running course was a challenging due to some good climbs and quick descents but all the participants pushed themselves towards the finishing line,” said one of the Athlete who participated in the event.
The Jammu Hill Sports Club and Jammu Runners had set up aid points at every kilometre throughout the route for hydration and refreshments.
The event was finished with distribution of medals among finishers by Rubina Miglani- the first female Super Randonneur of J&K.
