JAMMU, May 29: Organized by Hockey J&K, the 1st Jathedar Mohinder Singh Memorial (JMSM) Hockey Tournament was inaugurated by Sant Tejwant Singh at KK Hakku Stadium, here today.
The opening match of the Tournament was played between MBS Club Simbal and BSB Hockey Club Poonch which was won by latter by 8-0. Sant Tejwant Singh was the chief guest of the opening match.
Among others present were Paramjit Singh (JKAS), GS Bakshi, Rajinder Singh (senior vice president, Hockey J&K), Ishan Sharma (treasurer, Hockey J&K), Supinder Deep Singh Bakshi (general secretary, Hockey J&K), Daljeet Singh (organizing secretary), Gurpreet Singh (vice president, Hockey J&K), Tajinder Singh (resident secretary, Hockey J&K), Dr Karanbir Singh (secretary, Hockey J&K), RP Sarna, Manjeet Singh Randhawa and Avinash Singh (Sarpanch).
The Match was officiated by a technical panel of Jagjit Singh and Gagandeep Singh.
