SRINAGAR, May 26: In the ongoing 1st Marvel Hockey tournament organised by Hockey J&K, two matches were held at Astro Turf Hockey Playfield Polo Ground, here today.
In the clash between Frontier Hockey Club and Ranjit Hockey Club Rangreth, it was Ranjit who emerged victorious in a nail-biting penalty shootout, securing a 5-4 win. The second match witnessed a tight battle between Mahindra Hockey Club and Khelo India, with Khelo India seizing victory with a solitary goal, claiming a 1-0 triumph.
Gurdeep Singh Sangral, president of Hockey J&K was the chief guest, alongside Autar Singh, Gurmeet Singh & Raja Abbas. Adding to the dignified presence, the technical expertise of the J&K Police further elevated the event.
