JAMMU, June 3: Eight days long Online Speedball Junior Super Solo Championship, organized by J&K Sports Speedball Association concluded, here.
Ten players drawn from different schools participated in the Championship.
The participating schools included Delhi Public School, Banyan International School, Jammu Sanskriti School, SD Tara Puri High School, Dogra Higher Secondary School, Air Force School, BN Public School, British International School, New Era Mother High School, RM Public School and May Fair International School.
Mohd Arif Rishu, SSP Railways Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while SHO Railway, Vinod Kundal and President J&K Sports Speedball Association, Ravi Tikku were the guests of honour, who congratulated the winners for their good show.
The winners of the event were Master Gurman Singh, student of Jammu Sanskriti School (1st- 59 shorts in 30 seconds); Master Nixon Gour, student of Banyan International school (2nd- 57 shorts in 30 seconds) and Master Yogant Singh Jamwal, student of Delhi Public School (3rd-54 shorts in 30 seconds.
These students got selected for Inter- District Speedball Championship.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice President of Association, Mohd Arif Rishu said that the event was held to motivate the players to train their mind to face tough times.
Mr Tikku extended thanks to one and all for supporting the event.
The Online matches were officiated by Sandeep Sharma (Speedball Coach Udhampur), Sahil Janjua (Speedball Coach Kathua) and Jatin Gupta (Speedball Coach Jammu).
The event was held under the supervision of Sunny Nanda, General Secretary of the Association and Head Jury of the Championship.
