JAMMU, Oct 29: 1st Open Volleyball Tournament for women will start at Raipur Satwari, here from tomorrow.
12 teams are participating in this Tournament and the participating teams are from Jammu, Udhampur and Ladhakh.
The teams are Trikuta Volleyball Club Jammu, APS BD Bari A and B, Rajput Club Jammu, Commerce College, GCW Parade, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Govt High School Chowadi, GCW Udhampur, Ladhakh Banla and Akhnoor etc.
According to the organizers, Deputy Commissioner Excise, Anuradha Gupta will be the chief guest on the opening ceremony and will declare the tournament open.
Today a meeting was held at Raipur Satwari which was attended by the members of Trikuta Volleyball Club including Vishal Charak, Sarpanch of Raipur Satwari; Ravi Kumar, Vijay Sharma, Jameel Ahmed, Avtar Singh Chib and Kartar Singh.
